The Patient Navigator works closely with the Oncology Social Worker , to help guide patients and their families through the health care system.
Assists with access challenges and develops relationships with service providers and community resources. Assists patients and families with prescriptions, travel, and access to financial resources.
Ensures that patients have access to all resources available.
QUALIFICATIONS : Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
Minimum of two years’ experience in the health care field preferred.
Licensure / Credentials
None required.

BENEFITS SUMMARY :
personal time; religious observances; health and dental care; and short-term illness / injury. Accrues based on hours worked, equivalent to 14 days per year for a full-time employee (pro-rated for part-time).
Employees may begin to use their PTO after 90 calendar days. PTO after 90 calendar Bank is carved out into two banks; PTO and PTO PSL (Paid Sick Leave).
PTO : Use this for time off for vacation; personal time; religious observances; health and dental PSL (Paid Sick Leave) : If you are sick or caring for a sick family member, you may wish to use the PTO PSL bank in order to receive the protections of WA State’s Paid Sick Leave.
You can also use the PTO PSL bank just like you use your PTO bank (meaning you do not have to be sick to use this bank).
Extended Illness BankAccrues based on hours worked, equivalent to 4 days per year for a full-time employee (pro-rated for part-time).
Maximum of 480 hours allowed in bank. Accrued time may be used to cover illnesses beginning the 4th scheduled consecutive day of work missed due to illness.
