**Description**
The Sheraton Orlando Airport is looking for a Line Cook to join their Culinary team! The Line Cook is responsible for producing all orders required by business volume and supervisor as quickly and efficiently as possible while ensuring the highest quality product at all times. Also responsible for producing all orders on an a la carte basis and as covid restrictions ease up they will be responsible for prepping buffets, salad bars and hors doeuvres.
Scheduled hours will vary weekly between Monday-Sunday. Weekdays, weekends and holidays are required.
The ideal candidate should have one year of experience as a banquet or restaurant cook (full service, busy kitchen), previous culinary training, and certified in food handling and food safety sanitation requirements. A pleasant attitude and outgoing personality, the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, strong verbal communication, excellent time-management skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple changing priorities is a must! He/She must demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to understand guest service needs and the ability to work cohesively with co-workers and other departments as part of a team.
