As a Special Education Assistant Teacher, you are responsible for supporting teachers in guiding students in the classroom. Olive Crest Academy's 360° approach to education is designed to focus on the unique needs of the whole child, ensuring every student is provided the support, resources, and instruction they need to grow in all areas of life. We embrace students who exhibit even the toughest challenges, instilling in them a sense of belonging while giving them the opportunity to shine. As an Assistant Teacher, you are also responsible for the transportation of clients to and from school as directed by transportation supervisor. In addition to helping students navigate through their emotions, you will also assist in record keeping, photocopying, tutoring and behavior modification at educational site as needed.
*Qualifying Candidates must have a California Driver License and 3-years of driving experience.
