Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the lead teacher to provide support and assistance in the classroom. Your role will be crucial in creating a positive and nurturing learning environment for children.
Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing curriculum, lesson plans and educational activities
- Assist with classroom setup and organization. Cleaning/sanitizing toys and touch surfaces
- Supervise students during indoor and outdoor play
- Toilet training/ diapering
- Assist with meal preparation
- Preparing nap spaces
Requirement/ Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Proof of a recent TB Test, TDap and Measles/MMR vaccine
- Pediatric CPR & First Aid Certified (only if left alone with children)
- Mandated Reporter Training (We will provide you with a FREE link to complete)
- Live Scan clearance
- Reliable transportation
- 6 months of experience working with children, preferably in a classroom or educational setting (babysitting and nanny experience qualifies)
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred
- ECE college credits
- 1 year of child care experience
