Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Instructor to join our team at Code Ninjas Garden Grove. The Assistant Instructor will work closely with the Lead Instructor to provide a nurturing and educational environment for children with regards to computer coding. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have a passion for early childhood education and want to make a positive impact on young minds. No Coding experience required; training will be provided.
Duties:
- Assist the Lead Instructor in implementing Code Ninjas lesson plans and activities
- Provide support in creating a safe and engaging learning environment
- Assist with behavior management and promote positive social interactions among children
- Help supervise children during their coding activities
- Collaborate with the Lead Instructor to assess each child's progress and communicate with parents/guardians
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the classroom and common areas
- Contribute to curriculum development by suggesting creative ideas and materials

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them learn and grow
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
