We are looking to add a strong, well rounded pastry baker to our team. Looking for someone familiar with cake production from start to finish. Cakes are made in the traditional separated egg method for most of the products. We also make custom cakes for orders, special events, and weddings that would be part of the responsibility of the production team. We are a traditional European style bakery that offers baked goods from 7 am to 10 pm. Would be responsible for learning all jobs within the kitchen eventually.
* Must have previous experience (at least 3 years)
* Must be able to lift 50 #'s / Walk up and down stairs (there are two kitchens that get used daily, walk in fridge is downstairs)
*Must be able to mulit-task and work in a high volume situation
* Would be working with another person most time, left alone periodically
*Part Time or Full Time
*Must have reliable transportation
*Punctual / able to get to work on time
* Responsible
We are a very busy downtown bakery that is constantly working to refresh and keep up with customer demands.
Stage required after interview is complete
Bakers are tipped out weekly on their pay checks from a tip pool based on hours worked per week

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
