Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support to our internal users, ensuring smooth operation of computer systems.
Duties:
- Provide technical support for desktop hardware and software issues
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications
- Set up and maintain user accounts and profiles
- Assist with network connectivity, including VPN setup
- Resolve issues related to TCP/IP, DNS, and other networking protocols
- Collaborate with the help desk team to escalate complex problems
- Utilize Jira or similar tools to track and document support requests
Requirements:
- Proven experience in customer service and technical support
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and peripherals
- Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows and Office suites
- Understanding of basic networking concepts including TCP/IP
- Experience with help desk support procedures and ticketing systems
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
