Oklahoma State University is Hiring a Coordinator - Instructional Design & Academic Support Near Tulsa, OK

Job Summary
Curriculum design support as needed for new online course offerings:
  • Assist director as needed with all curriculum design support
  • Work with director to correspond, train, retain College of Professional Studies faculty
  • Ability to write – excellent writing skills necessary
  • Ability to write a script, shoot, edit and assemble recorded raw video into a professional finished product as needed for new online courses
  • Ability to work with and produce video graphics, special effects
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with faculty for syllabi, online course video shoots and marketing materials for class
  • Ability to work with marketing for social media campaigns, video

Program recruitment as directed

Conduct market research as directed

Help Dean and Director understand and strategically communicate with internal and external audiences

Coordinating schedules / calendars / events / communications for the College of Professional Studies
  • Schedule meetings and events as directed by the Dean and/or Interim Director
  • Coordinate weekly social media messages with director and marketing department
  • Coordinate customer / partner correspondence as directed by Dean and/or Interim Director.
Environmental Hazards
  • Typical office environment.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

Required
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Educational Technology or closely related field
  • Two (2) years of related professional experience in instructional design and training in higher education.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills; instructional design and faculty coordination; video production; market / audience research; event coordination, office coordination
Preferred
  • Masters Degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Educational Technology or closely related field
  • Two (2) to five (5) years' experience
Skills, Proficiencies, and Knowledge
Team organization
  • Plan teamwork and campus events as directed
  • Help administrators coordinate other duties as assigned
Customer service:
  • You are the first person to greet anyone in the College of Professional Studies. Your job is to make them feel welcome. You must be a problem solver who can find answers and problem solve for internal and external audiences.
  • Coordinate teamwork between the College of Professional Studies and other units when possible
Skills needed:

- Computer savvy - must be knowledgeable in Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and video editing software
- Must be able to create strategic messages / graphics for social media and video -knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Premiere, Photoshop and/or Illustrator desired
