JOB TITLE
Chief Financial Officer
ANNUAL SALARY RANGE
$139,338 to $171,493 (salary revised 03/06/2024)
SUMMARYUnder the supervision of the Deputy Executive Director, the Chief Financial Officer will direct and oversee the agency's financial activities, prepare current financial reports and summaries, and create forecasts predicting future growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance, including eight to ten years of experience in financial management required; governmental accounting experience preferred. Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSValid driver's license. Must be bondable. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License required
OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of governmental accounting, bond accounting, and computer systems, including accounting software, spreadsheet, and word processing software. Knowledge of the general principles of finance, including budgeting and reporting. Knowledge of the local, state, and federal laws governing the agency's financial operating practices and procedures. Ability to understand, act on, and interpret policies, regulations, and procedures set forth by OHFA, Federal and State governments, and departments, including HUD. Ability to devise, implement, and supervise standard accounting methods, procedures, forms, and records. Ability to prepare financial statements and reports.
This is not a remote or telework position.
