Maintenance- Maintenance Technician/Mechanic 1st- 7am-3:30pmWe are looking for a reliable, skilled maintenance worker to perform essential upkeep tasks throughout our facility. In this position, you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities such as repairs and cleaning to ensure that our facility is tidy and functional, You should have the manual dexterity and physical stamina necessary for this work.Highly disciplined, problem-solver, logical thinker, troubleshooter, and team player with a strong work ethic. Must be able to diagnoses malfunctions and troubleshoot systems to determine the required repair. This may include dismantling, replacing, and adjustments to current assembles.Able to lift and carry products and/or equipment of up to 40 poundsPerform minor fixes, such as repairing broken or failed items, damage to facility, etc.Repair and preventative maintenance of production equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to CNC machinery, performing electrical, hydraulic and mechanical work.Inspect and troubleshoot various equipmentTest the functionality of the facility's safety systemsMust be able to read speak and write English.Experience with 24VDC,120VAC,480VAC, safety circuits, photo eyes, Motor Control Circuits and VFD ControllersExperience with power rollers conveyor systems, hydraulic and Pneumatic systemsPLC experience s a plus, programming not required.Install necessary replacement parts and equipment as neededForklift operations: responsible for operating and managing industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks.Report to facilities or maintenance manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progressAll other duties as assignedRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentMust have a Clean Valid Driver’s LicenseAbility to work independently (with little or no supervision)Must work and perform safely and neatly, good housekeeping and safe attitude.Ability to follow instructions verbally and written. Common SenseGeneral Maintenance/Mechanical SkillsMust be able to work flexible hours and overtime as required. This position requires constant standing, walking and use of hands and fingers and frequent talking and hearing. This position also requires occasional sitting, stooping, kneeling and crouching. Incumbent must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Good close, distance and peripheral vision as well depth perception and the ability to see colors and adjust focus is required.
