Summary/Objective
The System Support Specialist I provides end user support for hardware and software for multiple sites within the ODW/Transportation Management environment. This position will be responsible for effectively and efficiently managing their ServiceNow queue of request and incident tickets. A combination of remote and on-site support will be required.

Essential Functions

  • Support end user devices including but not limited to Laptops, Desktops, Printers to include setup, configuration, and deployment
  • Support end user software including but not limited to MS Office, O365, WMS setup, print drivers, and DUO
  • Perform administrative functions to include but limited to, new user setup, access requests, printer setup, email setup and shared drive access
  • Respond quickly and promptly to tickets based upon priority to ensure quick and accurate resolution and escalate issues as needed
  • Consult and maintain library of technical documentation
  • Accurately document inventory through entire lifecycle including receiving, deploying, repairing, and retiring
  • Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • 1 years of IT helpdesk / desktop support experience
  • A Certification (or comparable experience)

Skills and Background

  • IT related Certifications
  • CompTIA Certifications
  • Knowledge of computer software and hardware
  • Knowledge of data communications
  • Desktop OS Support, Problem Solving, Multi-tasking, Quality Focus, Coordination, Technical Understanding, Quick Study
  • Microsoft Windows 10\11
  • HP LaserJet printers

Language Requirements

  • Ability to hear, read and comprehend, write, and communicate.

Physical and Mental Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is:

  • Continuously required to sit, type, and perform repetitive wrist motion;
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, climb or reach.
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasionally required to be on-call or after hours or weekend support as needed

Specific vision capabilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus (with or without corrective lenses). The physical demands herein are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
