ODA Community Developme is Hiring a Call Center Representative Near Brooklyn, NY

ODA Primary Health Care Network is seeking a Call CenterRepresentative

The Call Center Representativeassists patients with their appointments, insurance, and other health careservices. Act as a liaison between patient and provider when needed.

 Responsibilities:

-Exceptional human relations,communication and have a friendly disposition at all times.

-Havean aptitude to work in a very busy environment including phones, patients andstaff asneeded.

-To schedule all appointments inthe assigned area, according to the schedule of the providers.

-To answer questions regarding the scheduling of appointments andinsurance protocols to the best ability and refer quarries to providers andsupervisory administrative personnel.

-To relay telephone messages andappropriate charts to providers.

-To consult with providers andsupervisor when appointment demands exceed existing schedule.

-To register patients in anefficient and timely manner.

-To follow all fiscalrequirements.

-To assist in other areas asdirected by supervisor during others’ break times.

-To report to supervisor anyproblems regarding patients, insurances or appointments.

-To establish an environmentfostering patient satisfaction.

-To monitor patient flow andadvocate for patients and the center in reducing wait time.

-To serve as a facilitator forpatients to receive needed health care services.

-To be punctual and reliable.

-Evening and weekend hoursrequired.

 Requirements:

-Proficiency with variousMicrosoft Windows products and Medical Systems.

-Exceptional verbal and writtencommunication skills.

-Insurance verificationexperiences a plus.

-Ability to serve as a member ofthe health care team with sensitivity to community residents
