OBGYN Associates is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Near Madison, AL

We are is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for our busy OB/GYN office.

Responsibilities include:
  • Welcome patients and visitors
  • Check patients in and out
  • Answer phones and direct the caller to the appropriate party or take a detailed message
  • Schedule appointments
  • Call patients to confirm or reschedule upcoming appointments
  • Maintain the reception area
  • Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information
  • Verify insurance benefits at each patient appointment
  • Record and collect copay's and balances on accounts
  • Provide patients with intake and new patient forms as well as copies of our office polices and legally required documents
  • Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information (HIPAA)
  • Maintain operations by following office policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
  • May cross train to other departments as needed
