Position Summary:

We’re currently searching for an experienced program manager to join our ranks and continue our tradition of success. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. As a natural-born leader, you will have strong project coordination and delegation talent. Ultimately, you are motivated by the desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
• Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
• Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors
• Develop and manage the budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
• Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
• Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders
• Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives
• Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement
• Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
• Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached
• Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity
• Collaborate with Technical Lead, Help Desk Lead, and Product Owner to prioritize and communicate development tasks

Skills/Qualifications:

• Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
• Experience managing software development contracts leveraging Agile methodologies and best practices
• Experience managing the design, development, integration, deployment, and operation of a financial management system
• Experience and technical expertise in Oracle EBS
• Experience developing and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule
• Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
• Ability to develop and communicate new concepts via written and spoken interaction; apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment; organize, schedule, and coordinate work phases; and determine the appropriate approach at the task level or, with assistance, at the project level to provide solutions to a range of complex problems.
• Demonstrates strong initiative and work ethic and can work effectively with an engineering team.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or related technical discipline from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing Software Development Projects

Clearance:

• U.S. citizenship required
• Possesses or can obtain OPM Position of Public Trust or DoD Secret clearance.

Certification:

• PMP, ITIL, or equivalent Certification

Work Location:

• Washington, DC, and remote
