Oakdale Senior Alliance is Hiring a Kitchen Steward Near Pittsburgh, PA
Lighthouse Pointe Village is seeking a Kitchen Steward to join our team! The Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order. The ideal candidate will have experience in a kitchen environment and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
This is a full-time position, 11am-7:30pm with alternating weekends
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, dishes, and utensils
- Ensure that the kitchen is always kept clean and organized
- Assist with food preparation and service as needed
- Receive and store all deliveries in a timely and efficient manner
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
