The Patient Access Business Partner Coordinator is the representative to serve our business partners by setting an excellent example of teamwork, exceptional customer service, registration accuracy, following protocols, and is responsible for training new partners to ensure all aspects of the partnerships are met.
The positions main responsibilities include all of those for a Patient Access Representative, but not limited to, timely and accurate registrations, complete benefit verifications, patient education (regarding benefits), appropriate authorizations for services, and exceptional customer service. The individual is crossed trained to back up Registration, Insurance Verification as needed. The Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing the monthly denials with the Service Partners to identifying the root cause, implementing an action plan for prevention of denials and reporting at the monthly Denial Meeting. The Coordinator position also includes registration accuracy checks/controls; training, coaching, and motivating coworkers; completing daily reports to ensure the accuracy of all work by Partner locations, assisting with technical and support needs; weekly calls/training with partners by phone as needed and special projects as assigned by management. Coordinating recurring training for all locations, travel to external partners, assist with stabilizing registration process, benefit verification, insurance assignments, collections of payments, denial review and prevention training, training will be done in various learning environments classroom, phone and one on one. Gather feedback on partners experience to help aid in future improvements, provide feedback for process improvements, work closely with Patient Access Manager and Business Office. Expected travel to partner sites3-4 days per week.

Qualifications:MINIMUM EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
2-5 years healthcare business office experience required.

Typing 35 words per minute. Excellent computer skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Ability to handle extensive phone calls. Ability to educate/train groups and individuals. Ability to set goals, multitask, excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
