Overview
The Event Security position is responsible for ensuring the safety and security for all events.Special security assignments may be available during non-event days/nights.The security team is a provider of direct service to our guests and must always exhibit a professional and courteous demeanor.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $12 to $14.

Responsibilities

• Respond to requests for assistance fromstaff and visitors for a variety of security issues (fire, medical emergencies, etc.)
• Performs all event and non-event security duties as assigned
• Admits building staff, suppliers, contractors, visitors, and guests to the facility according to established security procedures.
• Answers information requests from staff and guests during events or as needed.
• Protects Arena equipment, materials, and structures throughout the work schedule.
• Provides regular security functions within the Arena and related areas, prior to, during and after all events.
• Receives, records, and returns all lost and found items according to established team procedures.
• When requested, provide escorts of persons to and from locations within the facility
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the Director of Events, Event Managers.

Qualifications

• Prior security experience preferred, but not required.
• Able to work events as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language required
• Ability to work beyond traditional business hours, including nights, weekends and select holidays, is required
• Must demonstrate strong attention to detail
• Must have earned or can earn valid CPR certification
• Must demonstrate a positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude
