Oak Hall Cap & Gown is Hiring an Office Administrator Near Chilhowie, VA

Oak Hall Cap & Gown, a nationally recognized manufacturer of graduation caps and gowns, is seeking a full-time office administrator.

Applicants should be detailed oriented and well organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects with little supervision. The Office Administrator will compile and record employee time and payroll data as well as compute employees' time worked, production and commission. This position is responsible for all general office and administrative duties for their facility. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering telephones, directing calls, and taking messages
  • Maintaining and updating filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems
  • Verifying attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments
  • Prepare and balance period end reports
  • Print tickets and labels including piece good tickets and labels for hoods and gowns
  • Other duties as assigned by Plant Manager

Candidates must have strong data entry skills and working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook. Previous experience working with timekeeping/payroll and confidential information preferred.
