Oak Grove Bookkeeping & Tax is Hiring an Office Manager Near Lexington, SC

Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team. The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring smooth workflow, and providing administrative support to the team. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:

- Manage the daily operations of the office, including scheduling, coordinating appointments, and maintaining office supplies

- Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and vendors to ensure efficient workflow

- Calendar management, including scheduling meetings and client appointments

- Vendor management, including negotiating contracts and maintaining relationships

- Provide clerical support, such as filing documents, answering phone calls, ordering office supplies, and responding to emails

- Assist with bookkeeping for our clients. Must be proficient in QuickBooks, both Desktop and Online versions.

- Assist with income tax preparation for our clients both during tax season, and off season. Must be familiar with 1040's and Schedule C's, any familiarity with 1065's and 1120's is helpful.

-Assist with processing payroll for our clients.

Requirements:

- Income Tax Preparation experience required (Drake Software preferred)

- Bookkeeping experience required (QuickBooks Desktop and Online required)

- Payroll experience required

- Proven experience in office management or a similar role in the tax and accounting industry

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- High attention to detail a must

- Multi-tasking and ability to work with interruptions

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Proficient in calendar management

- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles

- Familiarity with payroll processes and record-keeping
