O’Brien, Belland & Bushinsky is an established, rapidly-growing, general practice firm. We are seeking a motivated individual to assist ERISA/Delinquency team. If you are looking for independence, growth and support, this is a great opportunity. We are housed in a new facility in the beautiful, suburban setting of Moorestown, New Jersey. The successful candidate will possess and be responsible for the following:

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 5 years legal and/or paralegal experience
  • Candidate must be organized, self-starting and demonstrate an ability to solve problems, make decisions without supervision on non-legal matters, understand and respond to the needs of clients and interact with them on a caring, friendly basis
  • Prior experience with litigation procedures and processes, e-filing, redacting and preparing state and federal court briefs
  • Familiarity with U.S. District Court, state Superior Court, U.S. Bankruptcy Court rules and state and federal e-filing procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

  • ERISA Fund delinquency collection
  • Provide detailed and high-level administrative support in a team and work closely with attorneys
  • Prepare basic correspondence and legal filings, including scanning and redacting documents using Adobe PC as necessary
  • Prepare court forms such as summons and subpoenas, complaints
