Workers Comp Paralegal Responsibilities:

• Assist with initial client intake. Gather claim information needed to file Application for Adjudication with Workers' Compensation Appeals Board & client’s medical history in order to subpoena medical records
• Assist with the drafting and review of legal documents.
• E-file documents to the WCAB thru EAMS / Gemini Jet Filer and File & Serve documents on all parties of record
• Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes & conduct research to support legal proceedings.
• Obtain medical and employment records, as needed.
• Engage in regular and prompt client communication(s), including phone, text and e-mail contact.
• Record and store client information
• Sort & Label Legal Mail

Workers Comp Paralegal Requirements:

• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Deadline and detail-oriented
