Customer Service/Data Entry

Summary: Nyco Products is growing! Our Customer Service team is the voice of our company for our customers! This position gives support to our Sales efforts by entering customer information and orders into company systems, assisting customers with their inquiries, and following up on order shipments and invoices.

Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Assists customers with questions and concerns regarding orders.
• Enters orders received and follows up with customers on unit process and anticipated ship dates.
• Verifies inventory levels when entering orders and works with manufacturing and purchasing teams on ensuring inventory is available for orders placed.
• Maintains customer price schedules to approved product bids.
• Assists customers with returns and generates return authorization forms for shipping team.
• Forges and maintain relationships with customers by keeping them informed of potential issues, as well as new products and current promotions.
• Works with computer programs including Microsoft Office products, Inventory and Manufacturing software such as Southware, and is comfortable learning new software when necessary.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate for this position is proactive and self-sufficient. This position requires the ability to oversee a variety of daily tasks and complete them in a timely manner. Excellent oral and written communication skills are key. Strong problem solving and analytical skills as well as business acumen are needed to understand the business implications of decisions made when assisting customers. This is an in office position. Remote or Hybrid schedules are not currently offered.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. A degree or certification from a college or technical school is highly desirable. This position requires at least two years of relevant experience in customer service and data entry.
