Be a member of a global, highly-experienced team in R&D that drives the planning and execution of advanced microcontroller and microprocessor related projects. These projects are featured in a product portfolio with over four billion USD in annual revenue. Chances are that the car you drive, the intelligent devices that pervade your living space and the factories that produce the goods you use will contain one or more of the chips that you contribute to.
We are part of MCU/MPU Engineering, a central design organization within NXP, developing products for multiple business lines in Automotive, Internet of Things (IoT), Networking, and Radio Frequency products, with expertise in hardware engineering, including architecture, IP, and full SoC Design.
Job Summary:
  • Deliver on fast-paced aggressive SoC Program development, schedule and costs KPIs starting with architectural definition through post-silicon validation.
  • Demonstrate strong SoC design acumen and proficiency to synthesize complex multi-dimensional project risks, proactively identify mitigation actions and implement timely resolutions.
  • Track and measure project success KPIs and provide on-time reports. Be a dynamic, influential leader who strives to find continuous improvements in NPI execution efficiency and ways of working.
  • Cultivate and promote strong team collaboration and Total Quality/first time right execution mindset across global cross-functional SoC core team and stakeholders.
  • Establish successful relations with internal and external partners to identify and address software and hardware interdependencies to SoC design.
Job Qualifications/Experience:
  • BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum 15 years experience as a successful proven Program Management success in leading high complexity SoC Designs
  • Minimum 5 years design experience in complex SoC projects (e.g. SoC Architecture, IP, RTL through Physical Implementation, Verification/Validation).
  • Must have prior Programming and Automation experience (Python, HTML, C/C ) and intrinsic curiosity to find innovative ways to improve business processes and increase efficiency in ways of working.
  • Must have MS Project and/or SciForma or other Product and Portfolio Management Tool experience
  • Possess strong analytical / eQ skills and excels in program management and operational excellence
  • Must be an experienced communicator able to articulate in a very concise and effective manner from core teams up to EVP levels
  • Gifted talent to motivate and influence others, sustain high energy and can-do attitude to navigate through project difficulties
  • Demonstrate maniacal focus to deliver on execution goals and objectives - must be results and attention to detail oriented
  • Experience in a highly matrixed organization is a plus
  • PMI/PMP certification - strongly preferred
