High volume battery manufacturing is at the heart of Tesla'sbusiness, and the 4860 cell team is looking for a highly motivated technicalprogram manager who will take cell programs from product design to factoryoperation.

This role requires a highly organized mindset, a passion forlaunching new technologies, and an unparalleled ability to pull people togetherto make things happen. Our manufacturing processes AND program schedules pushthe limits of what is physically possible. This requires you to be extremelydetail oriented and drive the cross-functional teams to execute quickly at highquality. You will drive collaboration between Design Engineering,Manufacturing, Quality, and Production to ensure our team's goals are alignedwith company priorities. You will work to understand the opportunities,challenges, and dependencies of each project, translate scattered informationinto a concise and complete message, and communicate to every team member. Youwill aim to make our team efficient and effective while reducing ambiguity fromTesla's plans.

• Manage the cross-functional team to ensure successfullaunches of new manufacturing lines
• Collaborate with global teams to solve complexautomation problems
• Accountable for creating, maintaining, andcommunicating schedules and plans for cell manufacturing projects includingprocess development, process validation, line design, equipment fabrication, andsupplier development
• Prepare roll-up information for executiveleadership
• Coordinate and build milestones with productdesign, manufacturing engineering, facilities team, and production team
• Track equipment readiness and report effectively on status,blockers, and changes
• Track project costs and drive cost managementimprovement
• Develop and maintain effective communicationchannels to all stakeholders
• Provide technical leadership and projectmanagement skills to identify creative and timely solutions to key program blockers
• Identify team priorities and motivate the project team tocomplete critical tasks within time and resource constraints

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in quantitative discipline(e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering) or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills, both verbaland written, to technical and non-technical audiences
• Works well under pressure, adapt to changesquickly, and manage conflicting priorities
• Experience in a high-volume production/manufacturingenvironment
• Ability to work cross-functionally and managelarge teams
• 4 years of experience in a mix of engineeringand project management fields
• Experience with design, manufacturing, and automation ispreferred
• Experience with technical areas such as adhesive dispense,thermal manufacturing, or surface treatment is a plus
