Job Description: Accounting Clerk
Effective Date: May 2024
Corporate Coverage: SC Pharmacy Group OpCo, LLC || NW Staffing LLC
The Accounting Clerk will perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. Responsibilities will include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements. This person will run accounting software programs to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts.
Responsibilities
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the finance department.
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
- Research, track, and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Be available to assist with retail store inventories.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
- Competency with MS Office products.
- Aptitude for numbers.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Reliability is a must.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance is a plus.
