Position description: * Maintains the integrity, security and availability of multiple database(s). Duties include disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data.
* Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database. * Evaluates and recommends available database management system (DBMS) products. * Performs database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability and compliance with business requirements. * Performs Oracle, SQL Server, SYBASE, and other DBMS Database and Application server administration. * Organizes and formats data for efficient query and storage processes. * Requires Bachelor's degree with 8 or more years of relevant experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Qualifications Requires 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD. Required Qualifications: * Proficient in Oracle RDBMS, including 12c and 19c. Significant experience managing Oracle streams, text, multimedia, spatial.
* Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a polygraph
* Proficient with Oracle PL/SQL
* Familiarity with PostgreSQL. * Experience with JBOSS, Apache, Tomcat, Java
* Experience with Linux (CENTOS, RHEL)
* Active CompTIA Security CE Certification. Desired Qualifications: * IC experience
* Experience with system accreditation process
* DIA experience is desired
Target Salary Range $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
