NPK Hospitality is Hiring a Bartender Near Chicago, IL
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests. If you have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a friendly demeanor, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take drink orders and serve beverages promptly
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Provide recommendations and suggestions for drink selections
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, drink recipes, and beverage pairings
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Toast POS system is a plus
- Must be at least 21 years old (or legal drinking age in your jurisdiction)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
-BASSET and ServSafe certified
