Novus is Hiring a Remote Business Development Specialist (remote + travel)

NOVUS Glass has a Business Development Specialist opportunity

This opportunity comes with a base salary range of $65K to $75K,

plus commission for each unit sold and a company car 

The role is remote with up to 50% travel

The Business Development Specialist role is to secure new franchisees. As a key member of the Novus team, the ideal candidate will have strong relationship building capabilities, and the ability to understand and deliver Fix Network’s value proposition to prospective franchisees. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the ideal candidate will play an integral role in driving our company growth objectives by capitalizing on our corporate partnerships and other leads as they arrive.

Job Duties

  • Responsible for driving growth through signing new franchisees
  • Primary point of contact in managing new and prospective leads
  • Meets frequently and presents to business partners (distributors and relevant lead sources)
  • Attends trade shows and industry events to represent Novus
  • Maintain existing relationships with shops that are in network to assist in their growth
  • Stay up to date with external and internal developments in the environment for identifying new opportunities.
  • Coordinates vetting process for each new Novus location from initial vetting to final panel sign off
  • Responsible for branding (ie. Photos, mock ups, measurements, renovations)
  • Works directly with marketing and design teams for additional branding/advertising
  • Assess protective territories for contracts to maximize Novus expansion
  • Manages Novus shop status in FMS and ensures all necessary documents are provided
  • Manages all inquiries related to Novus (referrals, leads, etc)
  • Sets expectation for new owners – Develops roadmap for first 12 month period
  • Introduces owner to region manager to ensure a smooth transition

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Proven experience and success in business development
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills
  • Possess the following personal qualities: integrity, creativity, high standards, commitment, ethical values, and achievement oriented
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Travel outside of the region may be required
  • Ability to attend and conduct presentations

Work Conditions

  • Travel up to 50%

The ideal candidate for this role can be located anywhere in the US. The opportunity is remote with approximately 50% travel. A company car will be provided.
