Overview

Provides direct supervision for staff in achieving ongoing quality, productivity, efficiency, and service in the Patient Relations, Guest Services & Volunteer Services Departments in one of our smaller facilities. Manages the daily operations of the department and develops programs and activities that ensure patient, physician, and employee satisfaction. At Novant Health, one of our core values is diversity and inclusion. Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
• Experience: Minimum two years of guest or hospitality experience, required. 2 years previous leadership experience in customer service, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Volunteer Management Certification, preferred.
• Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work and make decisions independently. Word processing and spreadsheet training. Supervisory skills. Thorough ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Ability to prioritize and manage several job functions at one time. Detail oriented and strong organizational skills. Ability to demonstrate service excellence to include compassion, empathy and support.
