We have an opening for a PRN Physical Therapist for our Canton area- Southern Detroit area outpatient clinics!

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to float among our clinics in the area and provide exceptional patient care experiences.

Needs to be willing to go to at least 6 of our 13 clinics. This is a true PRN position, filling in for people when off on PTO or sick. Some weeks there may be 40 hours of coverage needed and other weeks there may be 0. All of our clinics see outpatient orthopedics but then each clinic has various specialties including TMJ, dry needling, sports, concussion, vestibular, neuro, etc. The size of our clinics vary from 1 PT to 3 PTs. You will always have a PSS to help show you around the clinic. The documentation system will be the same throughout all our clinics.

Hourly rate starts at $45/hr more depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how physical therapists may practice and whom physical therapists may supervise.
• Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
• Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.
• Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.
• Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy
• Valid State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
