NOVA Engineering & Environmental seeks a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Project Manager to serve as Project/Client Manager for assigned projects and to support the Construction Materials Testing & Special Inspections Department operations. This Project Manager must have airport paving experience. Additional job responsibilities may include:

• Coordinate with Clients and NOVA staff to manage projects and clients
• Develop and manage Client and Contractor relationships for assigned projects
• Ensure engineering oversight of projects and scope of services provided
• Provide technical development for Field Professionals and Technicians on assigned projects
• Generate detailed reports and engineering recommendations for field services performed
• Prepare proposals and budget estimates

The preferred candidate will have:

• 5 years of experience with QA/QC testing and inspections of pavements, asphalt, concrete, soils, rebar, masonry, wood framing, grout, etc
• 2 years of experience working on airport paving projects 
• Civil Engineering degree from ABET accredited school 
• Engineer-in-training (EIT) license required; PE license preferred
• Understanding of geotechnical engineering concepts, foundation loads, and general construction details and specifications
• Valid state driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record
