To perform this job successfully, an individual must be motivated to work in a fast paced, commission-based Sales environment. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. This individual must be comfortable using a computer and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and internet navigation. A strong knowledge of functions, operations, applications and customers heavy mechanical equipment along with basic knowledge of mechanical maintenance and repair of heavy/industrial equipment is a must. A valid driver’s license will be required along with the ability to travel within the assigned territory. Occasional training will require travel outside of the territory. This individual must be able to identify target customers and products, quote those products, and then make the sale while in the field.
