This is a full-time administrative office operations support role with an emphasis on insurance underwriting and processing paperwork. The role specializes in operational support to ensure the maintenance of an efficient and organized financial office supporting multiple advisors new to their career, in a small, fast paced atmosphere.
You will also be the first point of contact for clients. We are looking for an upbeat, customer service focused individual.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls to appropriate departments
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Assist Financial Representatives with applications for clients
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, and distributing
- Perform proofreading tasks to ensure accuracy of documents
- CRM management and data entry
- E-Filing and scanning
- Policy owner service work and underwriting
- Management of conference room calendars
- Scheduling medical exams for clients
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or clerical role is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
