Acting as the liaison between patients and providers, you ensure that our patients feel welcomed and attended to and that their visit goes smoothly. With attention to detail, you ensure that everything is properly documented in the EMR system. As a Triage Medical Assistant, you also help triage calls to determine the urgency of the medical issue, the right provider to see, and the timing of appointment scheduling.QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MEDICAL OFFICE ASSISTANT (MOA) / TRIAGE MEDICAL ASSISTANT (MA)Graduate from a medical office assistant training program (CMA certification required within 1 year)Basic computer skillsPatient-centered customer service skillsElectronic medical record (EMR) experience is ideal but not necessary.
