Oregon Urology Institute provides patients with some of the region's finest medical experts covering every major urological specialty using proven and leading-edge technologies such as robotic surgery, immunotherapy, and radiation therapy.This position will allow you to serve our patients and make a difference in their care while enjoying a professional and really fun team!Summary: Responsible for partnering with physicians and staff with patient care. Essential Functions:Prepares patients for examination and treatment. Takes patient history/vital signs.Hands on procedure-oriented nursing care in a fast-paced office.Prepares exam rooms and instruments for examination and procedures.Maintains patient confidentiality.Preferred qualifications:Able to assist in a variety of treatments.Skill in taking vital signs.Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with physicians, patients and co-workers.Must be flexible and a quick learner.Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment.Requirements: Current CMA certification.1-3 years relevant experience, preferred.Graduation from an accredited CMA/ program required.Current healthcare level CPR certification required.All new employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and able to provide proof on their first day of work.
