Corporate Assistant Controller (Hybrid)
Location: Atlanta, GA
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Assistant Controller to join our rapidly growing team in Atlanta, GA. The Assistant Controller will work closely with the Controller to manage financial and risk management operations, ensuring the efficient use of office and stakeholder resources. The ideal candidate will maintain accounting controls and provide accurate financial information to management and stakeholders to facilitate decision-making.Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and review financial transactions and activities.
- Prepare monthly and annual reconciliations and financial reports and statements to ensure compliance with various statutory requirements, generally accepted accounting principles, and established policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable, accounts receivable, projects, inventory, fixed assets, and other financial data.
- Maintain accounting controls and audit documents.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain and reconcile accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of various special reports as directed.
- Assist with external audit requests and provide information as requested.
- Participate in special projects, team training, and development.
- Assist in the processing of accounts payable and review proper accounting treatment for all transactions. Provide technical accounting support to various departments.
- Assist with the development, review, and updating of accounting policies, procedures, checklists, and related documentation.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5 years of Accounting/Finance experience, in the service industry preferred.
- CPA or MBA required.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP software
- Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas.
- $100-115k plus bonus
