Arroyo Vista Family Health Center is a network of four federally qualified community health centers and a mobile clinic established in 1981 and located in Los Angeles. We provide comprehensive, affordable, quality primary, specialty and urgent health care services in a compassionate, linguistically appropriate and cultural sensitive manner regardless of ability to pay. Our services include medical, dental, optometry, behavioral health, radiology, ultrasound, mammography, laboratory, pharmacy, and health education. We are accredited by The Joint Commission for ambulatory services and certified as a Primary Care Medical Home. We serve as a clinical training center for medical students and nurse practitioners through our affiliation with local universities.

Job Description
The Pediatrician will provide medical care to pediatrics, including examine, diagnose, prevent and treat, illness, disease and injury. The pediatrician will examine or conduct tests to provide information on medical status, analyze records, reports, test results, and/or examination to diagnose medical condition of patient, prescribe and administer treatment, therapy, medication and/or vaccination. The pediatrician will explain diagnosis, procedures and discuss test results on prescribed treatments with patient and advice patients concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention. The pediatrician will collaborate with other physicians and mid-level providers. The pediatrician will participate in medical and interdisciplinary clinical committees. The pediatrician may participate as a preceptor for medical and nurse practitioner students. The pediatrician will perform other job related duties as required by departmental needs and demands.
