Northern Wholesale Supply Inc is Hiring an Account Manager Near Hugo, MN

Summary:

The primary responsibility of this role will be responsible for developing and growing an eCommerce territory as well as forging new relationships and building the NWS 3rd Party Logistics Program while maintaining current relationships within existing accounts.

Primary Duties:

  • Achieve or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets
  • Proactively, establish, grow, and manage new and existing eCommerce & 3PL customer relationships
  • Report on overall business plan and key account metrics
  • Work closely with leadership for negotiation of long-term strategic agreements
  • Listen to and evaluate customer needs and recommend/develop solutions utilizing a consultative approach
  • Nurture leads and cultivate relationships with customer contacts to maximize sales opportunities through educating customers on the benefits of products and pricing
  • Provide best in class business relationship management to customers, including regular business reviews with key customers
  • Deliver the value proposition and handle objections effectively
  • Accurately input, track and report productivity and sales metrics
  • Maintain awareness of eCommerce & 3PL sales channels, market demand, pricing strategies, and leverage this knowledge to increase wallet share and market penetration
  • Utilize digital company content management solution on a regular cadence to deliver customers with a full selection of product offerings and marketing data
  • Partner with internal and external cross functional teams to implement automation as requested in line with project deliverables and timelines
  • Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies or marketing information
  • Act as a cultural leader, embodying and promoting Company vision and values
  • Perform other responsibilities as requested

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years sales experience
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Effective written, verbal, interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to time manage with multiple tasks and effectively set priorities
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Effective presentation and customer relations skills
  • Good analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to follow up and follow through
  • Good problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience working with IT teams and basic understanding of API, EDI, and FTP connections
