Description

POSITION TITLE: Data Manager

REPORTS TO: Fatherhood Program Director

FSLA CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt

Rate: $20.78

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:

Provides recruitment and over all support to the Fatherhood Program (1 FTE). Proactively collects, analyzes, and applies data to our daily operations, both to increase participant satisfaction and retention as well as to improve program compliance. We're looking for an analytical professional who thrives on the opportunity to review and compound data, and we need someone who can provide recommendations based on his or her evaluation of the data collected.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop and implement procedures for effective data management.
  2. Create rules and procedures for data sharing.
  3. Guarantee adherence to legal and NKCAC agency regulations.
  4. Regularly monitor and evaluate information and data systems that could affect analytical results.
  5. Manage all incoming data files.
  6. Run and help interpret reports on trends, challenges, and successful outcomes for program staff.
  7. Continually develop data management strategies.
  8. Prepare records for archiving.
  9. Participate in CQI and program evaluation.
  10. File maintenance.
  11. Data entry/review for other agency programs and program-specific databases (i.e. nForm, CASTiNET and SalesForce).
  12. Assist program operations with program outreach events to include program recruitment
  13. Perform other duties as assigned by Fatherhood Program Director.

Qualifications


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree in Human Services, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in data management, data analysis and data presentation.
  • Possess basic knowledge of industry standard data management skills
  • Ability to decipher and organize large amounts of data.
  • An analytical mindset with superb communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess community outreach experience
  • Ability to translate complex problems clearly and in nontechnical terms.
  • Computer experience, including Microsoft Office and ability to learn specialized computer databases.
  • Must possess good communication skills
  • Must possess the ability to work with people of diverse and varying socio-economic backgrounds

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to sit at, read, and input data into a computer for prolonged periods of time up to 100% of the time
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times
