Rehab Technician / Records and Documentation: Waterloo, Iowa

As our rehab tech, your position is mainly administrative: patient intake, clerical proofing, following up on doctor's signatures, Faxing documentation to our office and doctors, maintaining patient information , uploading items on the EMR and generally keeping all of the paperwork in line! This position will require traveling to three facilities within 15 minutes of one another.

This position is Part Time M-F. (days and hours can be flexible between 7-5)

This is an entry-level position.

Duties:

• assist with intake paperwork for patients
• clerical audit of records/documentation to ensure compliance with company requirements filing records/documents
• General upkeep of all necessary paperwork
• may include assist with therapy room - cleaning, in between patients, cleaning work area and equipment

• supply restocking and tracking
• may transport patients to the therapy area

Qualification/skills:

Must Haves:

• High school diploma or GED
• Clean driving record and background check is mandatory
• General knowledge and understanding of insurance is mandatory
• Strong computer skills - you'll be working with our Electronic Medical Records system, and other industry-specific programs. MS Excel fluency is a plus
