We are seeking a
Prescription Assistance Case Manager
to join our team!
The qualified candidate will be responsible for assisting patients in obtaining their prescription medications. They will work closely with patients, providers, and pharmacists to provide prescription assistance resources as appropriate. The case manager must be highly organized, compassionate, nonjudgmental, and eager to assist Northeast Missouri Health Council patients in obtaining their prescription medications with the goal of improving health outcomes. The selected individual must be able to advocate on the patient’s behalf when completing or appealing prior authorizations, assist patients in understanding their pharmaceutical coverage when applicable, determine the correct course of action when assisting patients, provide support and resources for patients, etc. The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills with patients, providers, pharmaceutical representatives, Medicare and Medicaid representatives, have a basic understanding of insurance, deductibles, and copays, be proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft excel and be able to navigate various online patient assistance platforms. Candidates must also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple patient cases at one time. Related experience is preferred.
