Salary and Benefits

This is a non-exempt position in Salary Grade CS4, with a minimum salary of $23.93 per hour. The successful candidate's salary will be calculated based on education and experience within the grade range.

This position is eligible for the College full-time fringe benefits package.

General Description

The primary emphasis of this position is to maintain all plumbing systems and equipment on campus facilities. This position will also perform routine and extensive range of work in the repair and general maintenance of college facilities, buildings and equipment under general supervision.

This position provides assistance to other physical plant staff and performs all other duties as assigned. Willing to be available at off hours as needed for increased workloads, on call periods and emergencies.

Qualifications : Education

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred.

Qualification : Experience

Two to three years related experience required.

Qualification : Skills

Requires an understanding of plumbing systems and how they function and the ability to troubleshoot problems by observing and testing.

Also requires an understanding of basic sanitary systems and points of maintenance clean outs, as well as repair and replacement of parts associated with refrigeration or facilities replacement of equipment.

Must be familiar with electrical safety and basic electricity.
