Duties:
Hours
Help with Cooking, organizing, cleaning, Hiking, walks, Doing errands, Going to museums, Chores, Meal prep, Crafting, knitting, and going to the gym.
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Administer medication following proper protocols and guidelines
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals in the program
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, and meal preparation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and individual progress
- Drive individuals to appointments, community outings, and other activities as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Keep the work environment clean and organized
Experience:
- Previous experience in social work, childcare, or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and medication administration protocols
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
