Job Description
North Shore Health is seeking applicants for the Certified Dietary Manager position. The Certified Dietary Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the Dietary Department. The manager is responsible hiring, training, scheduling, supervising and evaluating dietary staff. The manager is also responsible for ordering food/supplies, menu planning, maintaining equipment needs and maintaining sanitation. Coordinates policy development, maintenance, Quality Improvement and budget development. Coordinates dietary services with other departments. Maintains sanitation in department.
Qualifications
Experience: Formal training in food service with courses in foods and nutrition. Graduate of Dietary Managers Course.
Education: High school diploma needed. Dietary Managers Course.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certification for Dietary Manager
