Job Description:

Part Time IT Employer-Student Liaison

Location: Lynn Campus/Field

Dates: December 1st - June 30th

Time: Evenings

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

Identify and set up student shadowing, internships and employment opportunities with companies specializing in information technology or with IT departments in companies that belong to other sectors. Work with students in activities that will strengthen and enhance their ability to engage with potential employers

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 1.Develop and maintain relationships with companies to understand their hiring needs.
• Work closely with students to understand their skills, experience, and career goals.
• Set up shadowing, internships and employment for students in the IT industry.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and client records

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Strong understanding of the IT industry and its hiring needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in using job boards, and social media platforms
• Successful experience interacting with culturally diverse populations
• Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or a National background check as a condition of employment.

Additional Information:

Salary commensurate with education and experience.
