Qualifications:1.Master’s degree in mental health counseling or social work2.DESE Licensure for school adjustment counselor3.Knowledge and experience with middle school aged students dealing with social/emotional, learning (academic) and behavioral issues4.Knowledge and experience with trauma informed care5.Strong interpersonal and interprofessional skills6.Experienced group facilitator7.Understanding ethical and boundary issues with middle school aged students8.Strong organizational skills9.Strong verbal and written communication skills10. Experience engaging “tough to reach” families11.Experience working with community health agencies, various systems for youth and families and outside collaterals 12.Experience with the IEP TEAM meeting process and goal writingStrongly preferred:1.LICSW or LMHC2.Experience locating and collaborating with outside resources3.Experience with transition planning4.Experience in a school setting
