QUALIFICATIONS:Associates Degree in business related field.Knowledge of various payroll systems and preparation. Knowledge of Massachusetts State/Teacher’s Retirement/ laws and payroll tax reporting.Knowledge of MIcrosoft Office Suite and Google Suite as well as payroll software.Technical training on computer operations.Must be able to interact constructively with employees at all levels to answer payroll related questions.Five (5) years payroll experience preferredLENGTH OF POSITION:40 hours/per week (12 month position)SALARY SCHEDULE: Administrative Support ScheduleREPORTS TO:Director of Business ServicesPERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare bi-weekly payroll for over 275 employees and related deductions (annuities, pensions, insurance, etc.) Organize and manage a diverse pay structure consisting of varied annual pay periods, salaried versus time sheet based employees, and variable calendar year payment amounts.Prepare all quarterly tax reports, unemployment, etc.Process State, OBRA & MTRS retirementCommunicate with Retirement BoardsReconcile with general ledger, including journal entries and allocationsProcess year-end including W2’s
