This newly created position comes at an exciting time when we are preparing to undergo a multi-million-dollar renovation of our premier Senior Living Community. We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and engaging self-starter who will be responsible for increasing census goals through market awareness of the community and building relationships with referral sources. The Liaison will also assist with planning, developing, and coordinating all aspects of marketing the community including telephone contact, direct sales, advertising, and public relations marketing events.

Essential Duties

1. Plan, develop, and execute outreach events for market awareness of the community.

2. Build market presence and identify and pursue new business opportunities.

3. Cultivate and maintain relationships with referral sources and the greater community.

4. Plan and implement events and serve as a representative to a variety of projects and events on behalf of North Oaks Communities.

5. Meet with potential clients to discuss benefits of North Oaks.

6. Manage all information relating to the prospective resident/inquiry including accurate documentation of all contacts in the Management System.

7. Work with the prospective resident, family members, and key influencers (physician, attorney, trust officer, as appropriate) to facilitate a timely and beneficial commitment to the community. This includes frequent personal contact with the prospective resident including but not limited to telephone calls, home or office visits, events, seminars, and tours as appropriate.

8. Responsible for the professional handling of all incoming inquiries.

9. Meet all community relations and occupancy objectives as outlined.

10. Assist in the development and execution of public relations and advertising materials and announcements.

11. Keep updated about relevant, operational, competitive, and company information, in order to respond effectively to inquiries from contacts and convey community message.

12. Adhere to marketing guidelines.

13. Address civic organizations, businesses, and service organizations, representing the community in such activities.

14. Plan and arrange for open houses and events, publicity brochures and displays, soliciting the cooperation of community staff and residents in these efforts.

15. Work with the public relations agency and implement communications initiatives, including public relations, social media, internal communications, and media relations.

Qualifications

1. Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to communicate and present in person, in writing, and on the telephone effectively in English. Must be an effective presenter with both large and small groups.

2. A bachelor’s degree.

3. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

4. Two years community leadership and outreach or public relations experience necessary.

5. Prior experience in Sales or Marketing a plus

6. Skill in use of computer software including MS-Word.

7. Must be able to generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.
