Summary of Work

This position is located at the Fargo Air National Guard within the Civil Engineering Department. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Ability to create and update ArcGIS maps and AutoCAD drawings.
• Assist the Real Property Manager with facility inventories/inspections. Ability to inspect and construct facility folders and associated Real Property documentation.
• Ability to review and interpret construction design drawings and specifications.
• Perform construction inspection activities; complete daily construction reports, ensure work meets specifications, measure and record quantities.
• Perform simple preliminary survey activities using current technology practices. Ability to keep accurate survey notes and records.
• Must possess the ability to work independently or with other facilities maintenance staff.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

This position requires two years of work experience in Construction Management, Construction Inspection, Drafting or Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping. A degree in GIS, Engineering Technology or other related field to the duties to be performed may substitute for the work experience requirement. College level coursework may be substituted for the required work experience on a year-for-year basis. ESRI software and Autodesk experience is preferred. Successful completion of the interview process, reference checks and background investigation are required.
