Essential Job Duties | Position Overview: The Centers and Institutes Specialist within the Research Development Office of the Office of Research and Innovation plays a pivotal role in supporting and overseeing the research activities conducted by NC State Centers and Institutes, I/UCRCs (Industry/University Cooperative Research Centers), and industrial Consortia. This position contributes significantly to the administrative review, reporting, and management of activities within these units. The Specialist ensures alignment with University and System regulations and guidelines while fostering best practices to elevate the efficiency and effectiveness of these entities. The Centers and Institutes Specialist will work closely with stakeholders, researchers, and administrators across various departments and institutions to ensure seamless coordination and compliance with regulations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a proactive approach to enhancing operational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities:

Minimum Education and Experience | Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related business area; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
